Exhausted & Fulfilled
As moms we are always trying to provide our children a loving, safe and educational environment. You can run into moms who only share the joy aspects of motherhood when the truth is… Parenting is difficult! It is meant to be, it’s the design. We are meant to be forced to grow with little ones. It can feel exhausting, right?
When you’re feeling exhausted remember…
there’s always someone watching to see how you RESPOND.
How do you respond to struggles? How do you respond to being disappointed? How do you respond when you are feeling joy? When you are feeling elated? It is OKAY to express your emotions in a healthy way because you are modeling that to your children.
The parenting exhaustion is real and there’s no clear cut advice on the cure. Here’s some questions to ponder while you are navigating this exhaustion:
Are you asking for help when you need it from your spouse?
Is there something that can change in the kids schedule, routine or rhythm to their day that can alleviate this exhaustion?
Are you allowing your emotions? Are you allowing your children to witness how to handle them… ?
Is there a community you can connect to whether it be a playdate group, a moms group, a book club or a homeschool support group?
Your children are watching you and learning how to be an adult. It is okay to be exhausted, it is okay to rest and it’s okay to change something to accommodate that. We are here for you and with you to navigate parenting struggles and the overwhelming, pure joys that come with parenting! Let us be your extra support.
